Grace English School (Nagrakata) is dedicated to serving our communities by recognizing the diverse need of the community. The school is located in Nagrakata, north-east India in the state of West Bengal. The School is English based pre- primary to class X, Affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi. It functions under the aegis of Grace Ministries Janjaty Vikash Samity. Under the initiative and vision of Rupa Kami, we focus on spreading quality education based on human value to the poor section of the society.
Grace English School (Nagrakata) is the first English school in this area. When the school was started it was very small having only one small hall, which was partitioned by bamboo wall for different classes. The same hall was used for the purpose of class and to sleep at night.
But now things has been changed . Our hard work has been paid off. Now the School is off 12,000 sqft. concrete building with more than 500 students. The school has the facility of separate sanitation for both boys and girls. Modern tech, Computer, Science lab, Library Music room. The school also have a big play ground for other curricular activities. The school has well qualified and determined faculties fully committed to themselves to spread the light of knowledge and wisdom through providing enriched curriculum and activities.
The Outreach Program is an effort to make students aware of the less privileged in the society and to reach out to them.
Special counseling is provided for the slow learners, students with emotional problems and behavioral problems.
Helps children to understand things in a better way. They can see and feel what they study in their book and learn more.
We are providing school bus facilities, to reach out to the remote areas of dooars tea garden, Birpara, Jiti tea graden, Bharatpur, Thaljhora, Champaguri, Bandapani etc. These are the remote areas where we are focused and concentrating to reach out each and every child. We also provide transport facility to the nearby area of Nagrakata, so that students can come to school. School Bus fee is not taken from any students, and its meant for the children who cannot afford for it. The grace is sponsoring the school bus fee in a view so that they can avail the facility for their bright future.
Nowadays everyone loves music and through music people feel relaxed and comfort. We have Music classes for students and for others too. This engages a person from other unnecessary things. Music can also be a part of earning.
